Patteson and Alice have been baking since 2020.

Since the summer of 2020, PAC Sweets has been making customers’ celebrations special with unique (and delicious) custom cakes, cupcakes, cookies and other desserts.

After baking a four-layer cake on a whim in April ’20, I was inspired to create more in the kitchen and ultimately enlisted the help of my two siblings, Alice and Charlie. Together we sold $8 fudge boxes and safe-to-eat cookie dough as a quarantine pastime.

Two years later, in the spring of 2022, we’d been selling our treats on-and-off, until business surged from a peer’s order for an advisory party. That single requested exploded our business for cakes through word of mouth advertising and an increase in social media followers.

Since, Alice and I have continued our incredible journey (Charlie retired to “reclaim his childhood”). We have baked over 300 cakes, been hired for 8 weddings, completed orders of 30 cakes/200 cupcakes for local events, and more. Additionally, our story was aired nationally on CBS News and we were featured in the August 2024 edition of Richmond Magazine. The platform has granted us opportunities to partner with local businesses, (eg: Rainbow Trout Kitchen & Palette Home Studio) caterers, and nonprofits.

We can't overstate our love for the work, amazing customers we get to share it with, and everything else that goes into running a business.

Everything is made in our Richmond, Virginia home 100% from scratch. As bakers, we uphold a promise to deliver the highest quality from simple ingredients and stretch the limits of creation in the kitchen.
